Cutler Maine Cottage

There is so much to say about Cutler that it is hard to express in a limited space.  Suffice it to say that Cutler Maine remains one of the few unspoiled and undiscovered areas on the Maine Coast.  It's beauty and panoramic views are without equal and the abundance of conservation land ensure its protection for generations to come.  The harbor is a small lobstering vilage with most of the families having lived there for generations.  Hiking trails and wildlife are abundant.  It is truly a special place.

Cutler Harbor offers the easiest access to Machias Seal Island where the Puffin Birds and Horse Head Seals live and thrive.  Captain Andrew Patterson leads daily tours to Seal Island and his services can be reviewed at

Walk around the town and buy fresh lobster as it is unloaded on the dock at Little River Lobster Company
